Verscheur was Dr. Josef Mengele’s mentor and boss at the Kaiser Wilhelm Institute.
No – these twins were not human guinea pigs used for any sort of sadistic medical experimentation WHATSOEVER.
What was the twin research about?
The purpose of twin research was to take a variable out of an anthropologic survey. If one were able to find identical twins, well, they drank the same amount of milk growing up, had similar diet and environment.
We could say by studying twins we could find a base sample of the average German, Jew, Gypsy at a certain age.
What was really done?
NOTHING painful. Absolutely no invasive procedures. No torture, no surgeries.
A doctor or assistant would simply be measuring just about every external feature of the research subject’s body. In addition some questions were asked of the patient.
It was an anthropologic research survey. “Anthropometric” measurements were taken of the external features of the twins studied.

What was performed was a medical and scientific standard used around the world, not out of the ordinary, not painful, and contributed to our understanding of human hereditary genetics.

A closer look
This is a popular image Mengele hoaxers foat around. They’ll tell you this is Mengele himself, when it’s Dr. von Verscheur, and this is Germany, and although they look kinda Jewish, these are apparently German twins.
This was a completely harmless lung capacity test known as spirometry. The other twin looks bored as if he wanted his turn to be up like the little brother with the playstation controller. Jewish Mengele hoaxers will spread this image around as proof of some weird painful excruciating Frankenstein like experiments performed on twins. Let’s tell them to fuck off.
